Dużo zbiegów okoliczności i przypadków musiało się wydarzyć, by oddać czytelnikom ten zapis dyskusji o Reymontowskich „Chłopach”. Dwójka autorów z różnym spojrzeniem na samą powieść i historię, wchodzący w dygresję, polemikę, czasami prowokujący się wzajemnie, ale ostatecznie zgodni w jednym – „Chłopi” to wspaniałe dzieło.
